I am having trouble getting the Policy Documents plugin to display the text that has been entered into the text box area of the plugin. I am able to type in text box and save it. When trying to view the text from the forum itself a blank pop-up is displayed with a message stating "Policy Document Not Found".

This is a screen shot of the text entered into the text box area:

This is a screen shot of the pop-up I receive when clicking on the policy document links from the forum.

How do I get the policy documents to display?

Hi:

What version of Simple:Press and what version of the Policy Doc plugin are you using?

Where are you trying to access the policy docs  - from the links at the bottom of the forum page or some place else?

Does it work if you upload files instead?

Thanks.

I am using Simple: Press version 6.3.0 and the Policy Doc Plugin Version: 2.2.0

I am trying to access the policy docs from the bottom of the forum page.

I have uploaded the docs as a text file but I do not know how to link to it.  I had entered HTML into the text box area (from the admin screen) to the text files directly but I still receive the same message of "Policy Document Not Found".

Thanks for your help.

At the bottom of the policy docs setting panel you'll see the name of the folder where the documents must go:

01.07.2020-05.28Image Enlarger

If you upload your documents there, then all you need to do is enter the file names in the filename box.

So if you upload a file called privacy.txt, then enter just privacy.txt into the filename box.

Great! Thank you for your help.  I was able to have the text load in the boxes.  I believe we can close this topic.
