My forum admin is loading super slow and I can't actually click on any menu items as java script is not loading correctly.  I can see the 4 scripts that are not being found through Firefox but I really don't know where to go from there.  The site is built using the Thesis theme, running WP super cache and integrates wishlist member as well as SPF.

I'm looking for someone with deeper chops than I have - who can come in and look at the site - review the custom_functions.php file (ensure we have the right code in the footer etc) and who can trouble shoot the Jquery issues and generally tighten and speed things up.

Ideally I'd like to do this over Skype where we can screen share and you can take me through what you're doing and the logic behind it.

I would hope it's only about 2 or 3 hours of troubleshooting.

Thank you,

a little confused... you talk about js missing in admin, but then talk about super cache and js in sidebar - neither of which matter in the admin...

we use wishlist with simple press so thats not a problem...

and if running wp super cache, be sure to tell super cache to not cache forum pages...  since all content appears on a single wp page, caching it will be problematic...  if your wp page slug the forum is on is 'forum' without quotes, to the exclusion list, just add /forum/

right - i'm more than a little confused too 😉

I have set up wp super cache correctly and ensured that SPF is not caching the forum directory but I think I have bigger problems, not necessarily directly related to SPF - which is why I'm looking for someone who can spend a bit of time with me troubleshooting etc.

I can pay up to $60 an hour for someone's time - even if it is a silly and simple fix - it is worth it tome get some kind of decent speed back.

Any referrals greatly appreciated,
