tyskkvinna: I will send you todays code cut in a minute but I am unsure why you should be having any trouble with the users. If the latest code still does not import them is there any chance of having a copy of the bbPress and users/usermeta tables so that I can test run with your data?

I am also going to be looking to import from either bbpress to Simplepress or from phpbb to simplepress. (I just migrated phpbb to bbpress this afternoon, so I still have both.) They are both in the same database, but separate from my WP install (I installed WP and phpbb via fantastico. I know, I'm lazy....) So I'm wondering if this will work for my situation? Can I get the migrator and test it out? Do you think I should try migrating my users over from the bbpress to WP as well?
Thanks so much, the importer worked out perfectly! I did have to export the bbpress database and install it in the same database as WP, but that was easy.
Thanks so much, the importer worked out perfectly, minus the users. All the posts are attributed to guest and none of the users were transferred over to the WP database in the user table. I did also have to export the bbpress database and install it in the same database as WP, but that was easy.
