A few ideas:

- move the forum menu item to the network admin dashboard

- auto-make network users members of the main blog/forum (like the plugin does: https://wordpress.org/plugins/.....anagement/)

- allow for sp plugin configuration correspondingly (e.g., let "Linked Blog Post to Forum Topic" be available for network site blogs, not only the root blog)

why would you move the forum admin menu to the network admin??  its per site based, not network based... can you elaborate on the use case?

users are the realm of wp... there are not sp users, only wp users... simple press just uses the users from wp...  seems not value added to duplicate what other plugins already do...

we do have a multisite site integration ticket open to be able to have some level of aggregation or integration between network sites and/or the main site...  sorry, but not ETA...

thanks for input!

I wanted to have one (and only one) forum per network so that blog authors could bring the audience to their blogs by gaining reputation on the forum.

Tighter integration and ability to cross-post from their blogs to the main forum and vice versa could essentially facilitate solving the problem of initial audience acquisition...
