I'm considering purchasing Simple-Press for some online classes I'm setting up, and possibly to integrate with a membership site with 40,000+ members and growing.
I'm interested in how some of your Add-Ons work:
Post Anonymously: Would these users be anonymous from the Admin as well, or only from other users?
Hide Posters: What might this be used for?
Also, do you have any themes that are a bit more modern-looking, like Discourse (I did read the comparison, thank you for that)?
I can do the CSS changes, however, I'm looking for more of an overhaul than a few color corrections, and that's a LOT of work.
Thank you!

Hi:
Thanks for your interest in Simple:Press. Here are the answers to your questions:
Post Anonymously: The user's post will appear as "guest" to all users including admins. Its the same as if the user had posted as a guest.
Hide Posters: Provides the admin (or other designated user) the option of hiding user names in a thread. This has to be enabled on a topic-by-topic basis though.
We're working on more modern looking themes right now but they're still at least 3 months away at this point - we only started on that this month.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.
So, is there a way to allow "anonymous to all but admins," for example, so people can post anonymously (to each other), but if they cause trouble, we know which accounts to engage with?
That would be a HUGE boon in my work.
If not, is there a way I could pay for something like that to be done in a way that is 100% compatible with your code and updates?
Hi:
Yes, we could create that functionality. However, please be aware that custom programming isn't cheap - the costs for custom work tend to dwarf the costs of the plugin itself by orders of magnitude. Something like this would likely be about a week of our time. You can get an idea of what that might cost based on our rates published here: https://simple-press.com/downl.....ur-blocks/.
If you'e like to pursue this avenue, let me know and we can discuss implementation details further.
Thanks.
