Hello,
When testing, I noticed that if someone wants to edit his post, the shortcodes are no longer executed in the sidebar. They are displayed as shortcodes (Barebone-Theme).
Example:
Text 1
Text 2
Text 3
Text 4
After clicking on Edit and you see:
[Shortcode ** = "********************" max = "4"]
If you go out again, it is normal again.
Best regards
sorry, are you saying that when you edit and save, that the sidebar displays wrong? but shows up right after saving?
or are you saying the sidebar displays wrong during the edit? have not tried this yet, but if this is what you are saying, it would only affect the user editing the post...

Yes, the content of the sidebar is no longer displayed.
A user who edited his own post does not see the contents of the sidebar anymore.
TOP MEMBER and advertising banner are displayed in the sidebar and the customer sees only
[shortcode xxx]
[shortcode xx1]
[shortcode xx2]
and not the Picture of the Members or the Banner.
As soon as he saves, he sees the sidebar in original again.
I do not want the customer to see the shortcodes - can this be resolved?
Best regards
still not understanding... is it not showing WHILE editing the post? or after the save, and a second save corrects? despite the lack of clarity, I do believe you mean the former since I think I can replicate this...
will play a bit more and open a ticket to get it fixed up if this is the case...

can confirm this is an issue... seems like there is a really old line of code in the filter that is no longer needed... been there like 8 years...
will be fixed in the next release...
or if you want, can fix up yourself before then.. find file simple-press/sp-api/spi-api-filters.php... around line 889, just remove this line of code:
remove_all_shortcodes();
