Support Forum
Hi ,thanks for your job with simple:press plugin ,I have several questions before purchase:
1. Is simple:press just a forum plugin, it won't effect wordpress theme, right? I mean if I have got a wordpress theme installed on my website such as http://www.example.com, then I install simple:press, and it won't effect my homepage and just have a different look at http://www.example.com/forum , right?
2.Is simple:press compatible with WordPress Social Login plugin ?
3.User Identities, I just looked into it , and didn't find Instagram field, does "Add User Identities" is uesd to add such a field?
4.Do we have any email campaign tools?

Simple:Press will have no effect on the rest of your website. The forum page itself is still formatted with your WordPress theme it is just the content area of the page that utilises the forum theme. The Wp theme has, of course, much influence over how this displays as well!
2.Is simple:press compatible with WordPress Social Login plugin ?
User registration and login are the domain of the WordPress core and it is WordPress that informs the forum on whether a user is logged in or not. Any login plugin that abides by the WordPress standards and API is just fine.
3.User Identities, I just looked into it , and didn't find Instagram field, does "Add User Identities" is uesd to add such a field?
Yes you can use the Add Identities plugin. We do have a task in our development list to add some of the more up to date and popular id's.
4.Do we have any email campaign tools?
No. Simple:Press is strictly a forum. There are other plugins that can provide email tools and we have never felt it worthwhile to re-invent the wheel when good plugins exist. I would refer you to the WordPress plugin repository to find something suitable.

Hi , Mr Yello and Mr Papa , deeply sorry to hear that you're ready to retire, it feels like didn't join a game but it has over. I started to regret that I didn't purchase the membership days before, but actually I was rather busy these days. Hope we can purchase the membership soon.
* a question: does the membership limit simplepress installed in a single site ? Cause I have two sites and I want to give them a try. Do I need to buy membership twice then ?
No - you can use on as many websites as you like. But you do not need to be a member to use Simple:Press - the core forum plugin is free to use.

JK New, you can still buy a membership... we just disabled some of the really long length ones to give us time to deal with the changes... As @yellow-swordfish said, you dont need a membership to use the plugin or purchase add on plugins or themes - just for access to the support membership (and of course, a discount on purchases)...

Hello , thanks for the reply, for both Mr Yellow and Mr Papa, it's my honor .
I don't care about how long the support time is, I'm more concerned about having an access to all of your great plugins and themes , the Platinum membership give such an access to the full package. May I ask could I still have an chance to purchase such an access, I don't need your promise of support time , just want the all in package.
ah, yes, I see your point... I am sure we can come to some sort of arrangement... we actually hadnt thought about that in temporarily suspending the Platinum and Gold memberships...
Now, I have not discussed with @yellow-swordfish but I am certain we could come up with a Platinum type package (might need to be manually done) that would give full access, just for a shorter time period of access than currently...
of course, the real beauty (as you say) of the Platinum Membership was the full access to plugins and themes, more so than the forum membership (though it was sweet too!)... price was $135... will talk it over with @yellow-swordfish but pretty certain we can knock a few bucks off that and just shorten the period to 6 months... but wont be drastic because of the bennies...
more tomorrow...

We will discuss further today and see what we can come up with. Meanwhile there is also the option of the plugin bundle you could consider: https://simple-press.com/store/bundles/
