I promised I'd come back and post my new site in "Show Us Your Stuff" once it was all set up. Took a lot longer than I hoped, but it just went live. I'd love to get critiques - on the Forum especially, but also on the site in general.

The idea is that we're looking for regular everyday folks to

1. Present and discuss their own common sense solutions to public problems that aren't getting solved
2. Celebrate common sense wherever we find it
3. Combat nonsense - the hyped-up rhetoric, the stubborn divisiveness, the misguided labeling, and other balderdash that's become so prevalent in today's public discourse.

The site will earn no revenue. Plain ordinary common sense is the only kind of contribution we'll ever ask for.

Well Bruce - you have my full support!

Sadly I am on the other side of that big pond that separates me from our ex-colonial brothers and for some reason I always seem to get bushwhacked by someone from Texas or Wyoming when I start to get critical of US politics - so I can't wade in and contribute.

We desperately need some plain old common sense in the UK (and Europe) but I don't expect things to change any time soon. I have always said I would vote for a 'common sense' political party but then, of course, as soon as it becomes a political party...

I wish you every success with the site and if Simple:Press helps get things going then I will be pleased about that.
