This post is really to compliment Simple:Press and more importlanty, Brandon C, Yellow Swordfish and Mr Papa.
Over the last 3 weeks I have wrestled with 3 other forum solutions (you can probably guess which ones) trying to get something that would sit comfortably with Wordpress and have a decent feature set. None of them had everything I wanted and all 3 had minor niggles through to major conflicts within the Wordpress environment.
Anyway, finally came round to Simple:Press which fitted the bill perfectly. However, quite apart from a great product, what I really want to say is how incredible the support is from Brandon C, Yellow Swordfish and Mr Papa. Responses are super quick and very, very helpful and no hint of impatience with the noob! Within no time I had Simple:Press up and running, and it runs seemlessly within Wordpress. Admittedly, the miriad of options took me a while to get my head round but ultimately herein lies the benefits - just about anything can be set up just to your liking so easily - and if you hit a stumbling block you can get an answr in no time.
