If I upgrade, will that change all my current custom settings?

custom settings? options? or changes to skins or core files? the database is carried over on upgrade...
skins are gone... and any skins will have to be converted to themes or you can use one of ours or customize one of ours... but the options are limitless with themes... in 4.5, you could only customize a few elements from the options or change the look of existing elements... n 5.0 with themes, you can add or remove elements or even move them around and put them where you want...
skins are fixed layout... themes are freedom... so our themes are akin to wp themes now...
