Is it possible to create a sitemap of the forum that I can display on a separate page ?

Thanks

We do not have anything built in that could generate a sitemap type display but it would be fairly easy to do so if you know your way around the database and some PHP…

Fairly easy to accomplish (always assuming I understand what you are after) but would need database queries and PHP code – probably as a plugin. Not something you could show in a forum post I am afraid.

are you using a sitemap plugin for WP??  we have a plugin that supports google xml sitemap, wordpress seo and all in one seo for generating forum sitemaps…

1. I have installed the Google XML Sitemap WP plugin

2. I then installed your your SEO plugin as well

3. I then go to Components under SEO but I don’t see the option on the screen to activate the sitemap – this is with reference to your instructions found at :

https://simple-press.com/documentation/codex/plugins/our-plugins/available-plugins/google-sitemap/

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Arno

I believe those options were removed as not needed but I am looking into it and am going to find out why the codex page is out of date. Sorry – obviously slipped through the net…

those options are no longer valid in simple press or the wp sitemap plugins since they all now generate a sitemap on the fly…  google xml sitemap used to have a static sitemap so when to rebuild was needed…

As Andy said, we will get it fixed up in the codex…
