ah, now you are getting into details! 
the best way to understand the arguments for now until we get the codex fully up to snuff, is to just look at the code... in the template tags plugin, the library, the sp recent post tag file... and see what the arguments you can pass to the function are...
not sure I fully understand what you want to do, but you try this:
sp_RecentPostsTag('itemOrder=TD');
the default for that arugment is FTUD, which means include Forum, Topic, User and Date... so I just removed the forum and user...
