Could you briefly deactivate ii and test the result. If nothing else it would mean we can discount any influence and I suspect it is being loaded in the front end as well. It usually is.

I tried deactivating the plugin as suggested, then tested the forum. I have the same issues, no change after deactivating it.

Sure, I'll send you a PM. Also, I noticed something interesting. When using IE8 and Chrome, if I click "Add Reply" then go and click "Quote" for the post I wish to quote, the editor loads correctly and the quote and all data loads without error!

I believe I solved the issue. I can't get the error to occur anymore; after disabling the "Visual Editor" under user profile settings.
The script errors no longer occur when I quote a post in IE8, Chrome, etc...
