Support Forum
Hey team,
My forum has been working great, but today I noticed that the Add Topic and Reply Button stopped functioning.
I made a 40 second screen capture video of the issue http://screencast.com/t/dIrSL9GMXh
Any ideas? My forum is protected so I am happy to provide more information or login credentials if needed.
Thank you!
Ryan
really do need to know what changed...
but try it with the browser console open and see what if any js errors are reported... no caching plugins, right? or js minify plugins?

Thanks guys for the help.
To my knowledge nothing has changed, which is why I'm so stumped lol. I know conflicting plugins and theme updates are often the cause, but I just can't locate anything (yet!).
The one clue I can provide is that the "Add Topic Button", next to the "Reply Button", sends me to this page http://myfishingcapecod.com/fo.....?new=topic however I am shown content from the forum, instead of the New Topic box.
Here's a real brief video http://screencast.com/t/6bIjVbDamT
As always thanks for any insight or clues as to where I could look next.
as guest, we cannot post a new topic... the video would be more useful if you had done it with the browser console window open so we could see if any errors... since you entire forum is behind a paywall, we cannot look for js conflicts for you...

Hi guys, I was wondering the same thing.. Been testing my forum to launch on the 14th and now add topic and reply doesn't work. Have deactivated plugins/adsense widgets and still not working. Only updated plugin was a recent sp plugin (can't remember which one) and Jetpack (but deactivated).
Any ideas?
like a js conflict... see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/
if you give us a link to your forum, we can help check for obvious conflicts...
