On Monday I had a big spike on topics viewed in the Forum that did not show up on Statcounter for the site.

Do you have any idea what may have caused this. Seems every page on the forum was accessed with an unusually large number of views. My site is http://www.gcps.org.au

accessed by whom?  a user? a bot?  could a search engine have been crawling your site?  do you use a sitemap for bots?

Accessed by guest. Could have been a search engine but I don't know how to tell. Everything seems to be working ok. But curious as to the reason for the spike.

The site access logs on the server should reveal who or what it was bit it can be a bit of a slog going through them in my experience.
