Is SimplePress forum content visible to Google and other search engine spiders?
In my case, I would like to have my forum visible to the search engines.

While I am no expert on this subject, It might be worth taking a look at the Google XML Sitemap Integration Plugin.
Used in conjunction with one of the SEO plugins listed on that page it allows you to tailor how you want the forum sitemap to appear.
However, not being that knowledgeable on the subject, I couldn't tell you whether without it the forum is read. My guess would be yes, but probably not at a desired level (be that included or excluded)

Yes, that should help. I am already running one of the recommended SEO plugins, so adding this should be a snap.
