We believe we have resolved the WishList issue and certainly your own registration today went through with no manual intervention.
Steve probably manually gave you early access to the forums but that was not a WishList issue. Simply us trying to be helpful.

I wasn't complaining, sorry if I gave you that impression. I was just trying to better understanding the relationship the forum, membership software, and paypal.

Actually, I did have to manually adjust the account today when the echeck cleared.
When wishlist gets an echeck it flags the registration as approval required pending action. Unfortunately, when the check clears there is not any IPN communication between PayPal and wishlist. So we have to go manually approve the registration.
