What size do custom icons have to be to upload? I had a problem uploading a 72dpi 50px avatar so I just want to make sure.

You should be able to upload whatever size avatar you specify in your admin options. See from your WordPress admin page Forum > Profiles > Avatars

Here you can set display width, max file size (for upload) and quality. I think the default value is 50px.

However you mention icons. If you're referring to adding your own custom icons to the forum, the size is controlled by the theme template files. If I'm right I believe they're set at 100% by default, so whatever size icon you add, specifically the forum group icons should be displayed in full.

Thought I should cover all bases there.
