Can you point me to an example of a post posted by a user who has actually entered their country and gender so I can make sure I am looking at the user details of a post where there should be something to see?
should be able to do it with our user… go to the profile and add one and do test post…
if I dont get back too late tonight, will try… or this weekend..
done, you post is http://fuck4real.tk/forums/vip-general-chat/test/#p7363
thats in the VIP general chat its the only post
Clearly something is wrong there. It appears that there is a filtering issue with the data which could be related to changes that WordPress made to core filters in 4.0 and 4.1 that we missed, I will open a tocket to get it looked into.
However – we can still get you working using the alternate function which actually is better anyway as it allows more flexible styling.
Take a look at the spTopicView.php template that you changed and you will see that I have swapped the function for the extended version which is working. Details of the extended function are also available on the plugin codex page if you need further information on it.
Sorry this took so long but I think we got there in the end and we will get the base function fixed up.
what do you mean by styling ?
ps when will the members that filled out the custom profile fields, details be displayed ?

Styling… CSS – what it looks like

Well I could see the ones on the test post you pointed me to. Can you not?
THANK YOU.
So do we get all the custom profile fields to display on the members profile page, now ?
?????? Andy was asking if you use the profile page display or the popup display…. it makes a difference in which template file to adjust…
OK this looks worse than it is but actually it is pretty straightforward.
I am assuming you want to display this data in the top section under the last item which, by default, is ‘Bio’.
For this you will need to edit the template file named ‘spProfileShow.php‘. Scroll down until you find the function sp_ProfileShowBio() and we are going to add code blocks underneath that line.
For EACH custom profile field you want to display use the following code. Use the ‘ Raw Code’ button and then select and copy it from the popup window: paste it into the template.
echo '<div class="spColumnSection spProfileLeftCol">';
echo '<p class="spProfileLabel">Gender:</p>';
echo '</div>';
echo '<div class="spColumnSection spProfileSpacerCol"></div><p>';
echo '<div class="spColumnSection spProfileRightCol">';
echo '<p class="spProfileLabel">';
sp_CustomProfileFieldsDisplay('Gender', $spProfileUser->ID);
echo '</p></div>';
You will want to change the label in line 2 currently showing Gender. And you will want to change the name of the custom field in line 7 to the name you used when you set the field up.
repeat for each custom field.
