When I go as admin/mederator to edit a post, the edit button doesn't work. I've checked all my php files for correct coding- footer, page, the_content. All present.
Inspecting element with Firebug (see below)shows "nofollow." Not a coder so don't know if that's important.
<a class="spButton spRight vtip" id="spPostIndexEdit1" title="Edit this post" rel="nofollow" href="javascript:document.usereditpost1.submit();"><img class="spIcon" src="http://tspsjapan.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/default/images/sp_EditPost.png" alt="">
Edit</a>
The url shows: /post title/#p1 then #p1 disappears and nothing happens.

Thanks for any help.

Well, it's back. The edit buttons don't work, the TinyMCE plugin now doesn't appear for new posts, and the Forum Toolset is non-functioning. As I mentioned in another post the the_content code is not in the index.php file, but is in the pages.php file. Could this be the source of the problem. All other needed code is in the correct php file.
When the edit button worked in the past I could execute an edit, but after that I could not do any editing and all the problems above began.
I am not caching the site at all.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
mmmm. The good news is that at least while visiting the site as a non-registered visitor I am experiencing no errors or script failures and that, believe me, is a big plus.
It also means I can not explain the problem! Especially as it appears to swing from working/not working which is always more complicated to try and track down.
Let's start with the missing editor. Double check it is activated in the SP plugin list for me. if it is = is there any chance you could make me a temporary account and an SP Admin so I can look through the settings? If so you can PM me account details.
