You can set it for ALL moderators at once if the settings are to be the same for them all. Otherwise they will need to visit the Your Admin Options panel individually.

That's fine for me. I've ticked the box that says 'Grant all moderators the same option settings as above'. When I hit save, the tick disappears. Is that supposed to happen? Have the mod settings updated?

Yes they have. It disappears so you can reset if you want it but they have been modified.
