Ah ha! I think that must be it. I had to add Sucuri three weeks ago after a pretty bad hack and lots of malware nearly crashing my server. I will put in a support ticket with Sucuri to ask if they can whitelist the forum files. Is there something specific I need to ask?

nothing specific…. say using simple press… css file being blocked… can they open it or how to whitelist…
we have separately initiated a request with them to understand why they are doing this and to ask them to remove it… or tell us how to tell our users to whitelist…
Done. I’ve just asked them to whitelist or unblock the Simple:Press CSS. We’ll see what they say.

your site is back, so they must have fixed… they are reviewing our request, so waiting to hear back…
I just got a note saying they were reviewing as well, but I’m glad to hear this seems to have cleared up the problem! Good thing to note down for other Sucuri users, I guess? Or perhaps they will automatically whitelist Simple:Press (we can hope!).
I’ve written my other mods who had problems to see if the forum is working for them again. Will let you know if any other problems surface.

yeah, my request for them to handle it internally rather than users having to whitelist… will see what they say…
its working for me on all browsers now…
