Still having the black box where menu items should be...
My mods are pointing it out. one posted:
"I don’t know if this is just me, the fact that I’m using Chrome, or if this is happening to everyone, but with buttons at the top, “Join Us”, “Photography Marketing” etc, the “forum” button is all black and you can’t read it. The only reason I know it’s the forum button is because I could read it a day or two ago and, even though it’s now a completely black square, I can still click it to get to the forums."
Im using firefox and have the same thing happening. very odd...only when logged in...
I am not sure why it would come and go either or be any different if logged in or not.
This is really a combination of an old and long-standing WordPress bug and the way your WP theme is handling the menu creation and display. Having said that this is not a variant I have seen before so it is probably more theme CSS than anything else.
As Ike said above - the usual way to overcome this on sites that see the problem is to change the automated menu link (in the WP appearance > menus setup from a standard, automatically created age link - to a custom link with a hard-coded url. This - as I say - mist usually solves the problem nicely.
