Hi there,
I have a relatively new forum and have monitoring the usage of the various forums. I would like to disable two of the lesser used forums so my users can no longer see them. I would, however, like the option of bringing them back (with their content) at some point in the future, so I don't want to delete them.
Is this possible?

An interesting concept and one we do not have built-in, direct support for but maybe something we could consider.
The easiest way to achieve this is to go to the forum(s) in question in the Manage Forums admin panel - click on the View permissions button on the right and then delete the User Group > Permission Set assignments. You - as a forum admin - will still get to see the forum listed when displayed but your users will not.
But I will open a ticket to discuss the pro's and con's of introducing a sort of 'temporarily hide this forum' option. Thought this is the first request for such a feature I can remember.
