its like the topic headings and subheadings are there but the actual pages for all of these heads and sub headings within the forum arent there.

Also if logged in, clicking members is a 404 error and so is trying to click my profile 404 error.  weird!!

no. the data is stored in a database... not in files on the server...  deleting or overwriting files will not affect the data...

there is only one page for the forum - the one created in the wp pages...  all the forum content is displayed on this single wp page... its dynamically built from data in the database... the appearance of urls is nothing but url rewrite black magic...

Are you positive you were on 4.4.5 before?  I would suggest uploading the whole 4.5.0 version.... you got your 4.5.0 files from our download page here, right?

do you have link to you site?

you asked what files changes... so of course, I gave you the changes from 4.4.5 to 4.5.0...

what version were you on?? are you sure all your plugins are compatible with wp 3.3?

As you copied the sf-control.php file manually the first time around then the DB holds that as the version. Then uploading the entire 4.5.0 set of files will no longer perform an upgrade from whatever version you were on before because Spthinks it has been done already.

This can be set manually to force an upgrade but, as Steve asked, for that we need to know what version you were on before.

Well it was either 4.4.5 or 4.3.5, im thinking 4.3.5 since if it was in fact 4.4.5 I wouldn't be having problems right now..

would tend to agree... but one never knows... could be an issue caused by conflict with plugin or theme too...

have you tried uploading the entire 4.5.0?

Steve: I think he needs to reset the build number back to whatever version he was on before. He copied the 4.5.0 sf-control.php with the new build number but no upgrade script. So the 'upgrade' would have just changed the build and version number NOT performed a proper data upgrade. This would have probably been OK had he been on 4.4.5 but if not then it would explain his issue.

Do you agree with this analysis?
