No, I'm not using it. I have a feeling these problems are boiling down to some kind of database corruption as a result of importing from bbPress.
I think I'm going to have to reimport everything from vBulletin.

Hey folks,
Back after a much deserved vacation. So I finally managed to get my board restarted and reloaded from the original vBulletin source, but the board still suffers from some (most) posts never loading. I've completely disabled the caching plugin to ensure that wasn't the problem. I've gone through the site and tried to load various pages, with no problems loading any other pages. In fact, I went through and loaded every single page linked from the top nav, and every single page loaded in less than a second.
Any ideas what might be going on? If you are encountering other pages not loading, can you tell me which pages so I can see if I'm also encountering problems loading these pages?

Forgive me for going over old ground... I just spent what seemed like a iong time reading through this from the top... Was it not your database that you gave me access to and in which I found a small number of forums and topics without slugs? If so - have you repaired those?

I sent you a PM a week ago with my old database prior to completely re-importing the entire database. I'll check to see if there are any empty slugs. Is there a tool that can generate decent slugs for me?

tool? not that I know of... but there is a function call within SP that you could use...
really, what you want to do is just remove non alphnumeric characters and replace spaces with - (dash)...

I've corrected all the slugs I can see in the database that were empty, but I'm still having trouble with topics not loading... anything else I should check?

excellent. I thin there were something like 2 or 3 in the sfforums table and a handful in the sftopics table as well.
OK - if they are properly fixed then pick a forum that does not load for you. Go to the forum admin > Toolbox > Housekeeping panel and select it in the Rebuild Index task and run it. See if that makes anything happen

The forums load, topics are not. In the log I see some of this:
