You know, some of these posts load just fine. Is it possible that a specific user has some bogus data that somehow causes this if they've made a post?

yes... but more puzzling is that fact that sometimes that example page you gave loads fine for me... but most time, nothing loads on the page at all... you seem to see different results...

I generally get the first 3 posts of the page, or the first 5 posts of the page, then it hangs. I never get a completely empty page.

Are either of you experiencing this on any specific on SimplePress related pages? I'm not seeing any pages that aren't Simple:Press exhibit any loading issues.

I am seeing what appear to be fairly random failures ion both forum and non-forum pages.
If I take the example link you gave ('fun') then the first initial load showed me three posts and it stopped. The second load of the same page loaded the whole page down to the footer. The third load got nowhere after the heading and just sat there telling me it was 'transferring data'. I gave up waiting...
I can load other - non-forum - pages. And then suddenly it will just sit there and load nothing. A few page load attempts later it will load the same page it just choked on. This is the same experience I was having when this thread was started.
And it still looks to me like the communication with your server gets interrupted in some way...
