Hello,

I keep my forum in English thru word press however all of my topics and post are in Spanish every thing we write in spanish appears just find in the United States but if you look up in the forum in Puerto Rico it has been changed to try to auto correct or just changes the phase.

Have no idea how to correct the problem since my forum is used by spanish speaking folks.

There is nothing within SP that tries to auto-translate or that changes a language (except if you have the language files installed and active of course).
I think you need to look at your browser (maybe an extension or something?) - or other WP plugins active on the site perhaps?

The language specific .mo files that you would have had to download from our translations site. If you didn't do that then you are not using them. But these files only translates the text of supplied labels, prompts etc. Nothing to do with users posts.

I had down loaded the plug-in(Language and Theme Selection) how ever is deactivated and when we activated it only gives me the theme selection options and I can't find any other language option bottom.

however after further research with a client we find that if they select same language as the wpress site, the forum does not try to auto correct the only problem with that is that all english article can not be read by them.

why when I activate the plug in mentioned above I don't see any language options?

Thank You For The Help.

which plugin??  or language and theme selector?  what language files have you put in the languages folder??

you can get the language files from http://glotpress.simple-press.com... by default they would go in wp-content/sp-resources/forum-language/xxx

where xxx is either simple-press, plugins or themes depending on the language file you downloaded...

see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-selector/

but that will not translate the post content...  it translates the forum elements...
