But was that new user created through the s2member plugin or directly in the WP Add User panel?
And a second question - do you now how to look in your database tables? If so could you take a look at the 'sfusergroups' table and tell me exactly what values you have in the column 'usergroup_is_moderator'? There should never be anything other than a zero or a one.

As I mentioned in my first response, I added the user using the membership buttons created just as a new registrant would to test out those options.
I looked at the database tables and all are set to 0 for the "usergroup_is_moderator" with the exception of the Moderator Group which is set to 1. Any other ideas?
It took me a while to respond as my membership expired. I had an email saying I received a PM, but once I finally was able to access my messages again the only messages I saw where my own.
Sarah, yes I sent you a PM last night and asked a few questions... are you sure you dont have that pm? in the right column will be multiple PMs. only the latest will be open by default... a button in the right will open the additional emails...
I will rend it...
what we wanted you to look at was in a different table... the sfmembers table... and look at the moderator column...
so the members you created were using s2member then? the ones I created last night were through the wp admin and they were properly created... leads me to wonder if s2member is not using the wp api? but we have other users using s2member just fine...
please check the pm.

I seem to have the same problem - anyway, the members have all registered on this very wordpress site, and until recently were counted as moderators. The only change was the promotion of some sub-forum moderators to general moderators. As far as i can see; they still have full moderator capabilities; but aren't listed as moderators in the statistics.
the sfmembers table does not count them as moderators. 3 moderators are left which are marked "1", but the moderators not shown in the statistics have a "0" in that column.
I checked the relating tables as far as i could, but so far this has me puzzled. I'd be much obliged if you could take a look!
Yes I am puzzled as well. We appearto have the odd user with such an issue but so far no explanation or known cause.
So do I understand you correctly when you say you have more moderators located in user groups with moderator status that are (a) marked as moderators in sfmembers and (b) show up in the stats at the bottom?

Sorry for the delay - no, not quite. In the backend of simple:press; they're listed as members of the user group "moderator" - this one was never changed. All in all, this list contains five moderators at the moment.
Three of those are still moderators in the statistics; in the backend and in the sfmembers table (they got the "1" in the respective column. The other two still seem to have moderator capabilities (locking threads and so on), are - according to the backend - in the user group moderators, but do not show up in the statistics nor do they have the aforementioned "1" in the sfmembers table. Changing the value in the table didn't have any effect btw.
Hope this helps a bit. This has me baffled... not a major issue; but i'm looking forward to your magic bag of tricks .
Best regards, Dosenben
The question really is why do they not have the moderator flag in their sfmembers record? And that I am unsure of.
Clearly if you can change those to a 1 they should regain their moderator status and rights. As to the stats then this is cached so it takes a while for it to update.
But if you are using the latest SP then you can fo to the forum toolbox and open the CRON panel and force it to run using the sph_stats_cron hook (in the Run Cron box). See if that forces an update.
