I am sorry Lloyd but I am going to keep on asking...
Have you done what I suggested? (1) Remove the redirect entry for the registration email and (2) Turned off the use of the SP registration email so that the normal WP one gets used instead?
And you can change the normal registration redirect as well. They are there to be changed as youy want them.

I've done as you suggested (as I understand it) I've deleted the URLs for:
Login redirect
Registration redirect
Login URL in new user email
See screenshot.
I re-tested the forum registration. It is better. It's all clear up to the point when the user gets the new user email:
Welcome Robert123 to http://www.electricsense.com
Please find below your login details:
Username: Robert123
http://www.electricsense.com/w.....2Fforum%2F
Password Retrieval URL: http://www.electricsense.com/w.....=Robert123
when I click on the login link it sends you to a page where you are supposed to have a password. Can this be simplified?
I am sorry but again I have to repeat myself, Registration and Login are nothing to do with Simple:Press. These are WordPress core behaviours.
If you want to change it you either need to talk to the WordPress dev team or look for an appropriate plugin that may do what you want to do. There are quite few out there but can not really recommend any myself.

What about this plugin https://simple-press.com/docum.....ml-emails/
Would it enable me to configure the WP email?
