That's what I have been saying, I didn't put it there. Clearing out the field to have nothing and submitting changes puts it in there. It's being auto generated somehow.

OK will put the login url in there. But isn't it supposed to give the user a link to set their password?

sorry?  why would a login url give you a url to set password??  what are you trying to do?

you set what you want to be in your new users email on forum - options - email settings... if you want a login url, use %LOGINURL% as a placeholder...  if you want a password display url, use %PWURL% as a placeholder...  the admin help on that panel details the possible placeholders... if you use the login url placeholder, you get the login url from the forum - components - login and registration panel that we have just been talking about...

I'm confused - and sorry if i am confusing you too.

My email settings are.

Welcome %USERNAME% to %BLOGNAME%

%NEWLINE%Please find below your login details:

%NEWLINE%Username: %USERNAME%
%NEWLINE%Enter Your Password Here: %PWURL%
%NEWLINE%Best Regards, @BloggingCarDude, Admin and Publisher.

Which produces this email: It appears %newline% is being ignored. Also is it possible to send an html or at least clickable url in the email?

This does work - just hoping to edit the appearance by adding spaces and a clickable url.

I will look into the newline.

But... if you want html emails then we do have an html emails plugin (https://simple-press.com/downl.....ls-plugin/) which can do the new users email plus all other emails that SP sends out. And allows for a custom user-defined header and footer...
