is there an option to ban someone? except of deleting him as user…

to ban someone, just move them into a usergroup that has no permissions… or grab one of the wp plugins for banning users… users are really the realm of wp… and banning by IP or other is not all that effective…

move him to a limited usergroup is the best solution! thanks!

yes admins can pm…  but users have to be able to use pm in order to pm anyone even an admin…  did you enable the pm system and set permissions for users to use?

That’s NOT a problem. It is by design. We can not and do not assume that you will want all of your users to use any new, specific feature. Permission to use a feature (such as PMs) have to be granted.

i as admin have not the button pm

i know that users cant choose it to pm they just see their permissins ok! my problem is that i as admin have not the pm button

and a user cant see the pm button to send me a pm

users have the pm button to send each other messages but for me there is no pm button (such as you have the pm, quote,report)

we are talking sp admin here, right?  and not wp admin… they are two different things…

No, wp admins are NOT sp admins…  any wp role (ie subscriber, contributor, etc) can be an sp admin…  benefit being that sp admins CANNOT see the normal wp admin panels – just the sp ones…

forum – admins – manage admins is where you control who is an sp admin…

sorry, what are you saying?

if you are an sp admin, you should be able to go to this page in the wp admin… forum – admins – manage admins… if you do not have that menu option, you are probably not an sp admin…

do you have stats on the front end?  any sp admins are listed at the bottom…  one of those sp admins can make your account an sp admin…
