if i translate it in greek i have to encode to utf without bom otherway i will have a >?>./,. instead of greek

which po file did you look in? Its in the private messaging plugin po file… It is broken up into two strings around the number…

What are you changing? PO files are just a ‘master’ list of phrases needing to be translated. When they are translated you then need to create the ‘mo’ file which is in a compiled/machine readable form.

i downloaded the po file translated some stuff with poedit saved it renamed it properly and pasted it mo and po inside the plugin language folder

as you can see i enabled in seo the topic and forum name and it show the title on both page and browser tab

i think its good for seo to enable forum and topic name

but the page title looks a little bit big and i would like to have the title on the tab shown, but for my page hidden.

i tried disabling all the options in components seo and checked Overwrite page/browser title with ours

and page title goes away but also tab title goes away .

i show your showcase and most forums have the seo enabled but the page title is hidden

Try Forum Admin section >Options – General Display Settings and turn on the remove page title completely button. Then set the other options for how you want it to appear on the browser tab.
