Since upgrading to the most recent version, it seems we're missing our link to our inbox and the ability to PM each other. Is there a setting for this that I am missing?

I am an admin. It's my site. I forget which version I upgraded from. I checked the change log, but it seems to indicate updates I never did. I may have updated from 4.5, but the change log shows many updates between that and the current version of 5.3.4.

Well let's ask from a different perspective. Do you actually have the Private Messaging plugin installed and active?

LOL - I didn't know it was a separate plugin. Was it in the earlier version? I've taken over forum admin from a previous admin. Thank you!

No it wasn't - which was why I was asking about the version you were previously using.

[Image Can Not Be Found]So I installed and activated - and now there is no forum. Nothing. http://fanfic.me/community/ I may have to uninstall before you see this, but there is no forum on this page - even the theme isn't displaying. Edited: the entire site is displaying like this!

My guess is that you have experienced the WP problem with plugin installs but let's check. The private messaging plugin should create a folder in the forum-plugins storage location called 'private-messaging'. Can you check the folder name to ensure it does not have a '-1' on the end and if ot does - rename it accordingly.
If not the how did you installl it please?
