I've been trying all day to upgrade the Simple Press forum on my site and it hasn't got any where.
Initially I was on the Mac and all that happened was this: http://puu.sh/QOfJ for three hours. I thought it may be a problem with using the Mac, so I am now using my laptop and 6 hours on, it is still in the same place.
Is anyone else having this problem? It's very frustrating!

so please check your server error log for any more data... you might be running out of php memory or other easily identifiable problem...
but it says its failing on the very first upgrade script section... where its dropping and creating a couple mysql tables...
just to be sure, you are on wp 3.3+, right?

I'm using WordPress 3.4.1. and there is nothing about running out of memory in my error log

what about other errors?? something is stopping it - hard to recommend a path without knowing the issue...
you could also use firefox with firebug and the console open... run the upgrade script and then see what the response is...

I'm trying to update it now using Firefox with firebug and the console open, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for as I've never used it before.. Highly confused.
So I'm not sure where to go from here

If you want to PM me some temp credentials with wp admin and sp admin caps, I can take a direct look with my tools and see what might be going on...
