only seems to affect a couple of folks, but us too!

I think I said I might have worked out the issue and at the moment it is still under test plus I have no way of knowing whether it will change anything on your forum which, to date, is the only one that has raised this issue. But whatever ends up happening it will be in the next update if all tests out OK.

And when will the next update be ready for release do you think?
P.S.
By the way, dont forget to tell me when you dont need to access the ftp server any longer.
On the first question I can't say at the moment. We have several things in the air still in testing and until that all pans out we cant make final plans
You can probably remove the admin account I used now. If we need it again then - well - we will have to start again!.

I understand that you guys do your very best and i really appricate all efforts made to solve my issues, but your words really made me sad since i experinced this issue during five month now.
Maybe there is a way to hide the list for guest, but still being visable when logged in as a member?
sad, yes, but you are still the only one that has experienced it... that makes it quite difficult to pinpoint when 10's of thousands of users dont have the problem... so fingers are crossed...
to save me going back through 7 pages, what do you want to hide? sorry, 3 different lists... but should be possible...

The only remaining issue is related to the Unread and recently updated topics below the forum.
When logged in as a member, the list working as intended.
When visiting my site as a guest, the list exludes many of the forums and show the Unread and recently updated topics from only a few forums. It´s not related to forum permissions either, since the forums that are not listed, actually are completely open and readable to guests.
If it´s possible to hide the list for guests, but make it visiable for members only, it would solve the entire problem.
open your spGroupView.php template file... near the bottom, find this code:
sp_RecentPostList('show=10', __sp('Unread and recently updated topics'));
replace it with
if ($spThisUser->member) {
sp_RecentPostList('show=10', __sp('Unread and recently updated topics'));
}
and it will only show for logged in users...
