I searched but didn't see anyone else reporting this. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

We recently discovered numerous persistent PHP warnings in our server error log file:

[22-Jan-2019 12:34:05 America/Denver] PHP Warning - A non-numeric value encountered - file: /simplepress/sp-api/sp-api-class-spcpost.php - line: 580 - function: saveData

[22-Jan-2019 12:34:05 America/Denver] PHP Warning - A non-numeric value encountered - file: /simplepress/sp-api/sp-api-class-spccache.php - line: 41 - function: add

Not sure exactly how long it's been going on, and don't necessarily notice any impact, other than exponential growth of the error.log files. Notice only seems to periodically appear in the SP Admin -> Toolbox -> Error Log but seems to be constantly written to the server error logs.

Hi:

Can you let me know which version you are running. I think you're running V6.0.6?

Thanks.

Thanks.  What is the value of the "Flood Control" option under FORUMS->OPTIONS->GLOBAL SETTINGS?

Thanks.

Interesting. That field was blank. I have just changed that to 15. Is there a recommended value?Screen-Shot-2019-01-23-at-8.54.44-AM.pngImage Enlarger

Hi - the default that is used for new installations is 10.

Thank you, I've changed our value to 10.

Interesting how the field in our settings was empty. Please advise if that could have been causing the errors, or what I might do to troubleshoot further.

Hi:

That was most likely the cause of the error you were seeing.  You should clear out your error logs and then see if that error continues to show up.

Thanks.
