Hi I have 'standard permissions' for members set to 'Can edit own posts foreveever(sic)' . There are no edit tools available unless admin or mod status so standard users cannot edit their posts. Also there may be a spelling mistake unless its an American spelling which are a constant source of amusement [Image Can Not Be Found]

for some reason seems to just be checking edit any post, so will get it fixed up...

actually, take that back…  why would you want to use the forum tools button there??  you should have an edit button already available for users to edit the post… we try not to expose the forum tools if not needed…

do you not have the edit button??

that said, can see use case for not having the edit button taking up real estate...  will discuss with Andy since it is a change from how its always worked...

The edit button is adjacent to the quote button for admins and mods but does not appear for normal members, do I need to do a fresh install to fix this or is that just the typo?

I have done a full svn up on the trunk, plugins and themes and I'm at 6874 currently.

we havent made any changes yet...   still discussing whether we want to allow the forum tools here too...

the edit button (next to quote) should show for users too...  if its not, then something else is wrong...
