As mentioned over in https://simple-press.com/suppo.....-is-blank/

The profile pages are blank for some reason and we are unable to fix it :/

Posted in support forum to get some further help on the case.

Thanks

Please note the message at forum top currently - sparse support time due to coinciding vacations...

Can you send us (Mr Papa and Yellow Swordfish) some temp account credentials via PM so we can take a direct look?

Uhm, PM isn't working for some reason. I've added you on Skype instead.

Yes, on here.

1) Click on a users profile.
2) Click "Send PM"
3) Click Compose
4) Check Console; you'll see the following: (I tried this in Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge and Firefox... it did it in each for me).

I tried to send a message manually by forwarding a PM and then removing old contents add the new contents and then typing your username in the Send To box... but on sending (after typing up a rather big message...) it threw up:

I tried to find the message that I had sent but it had completely vanished 🙁 really very annoying.

Sorry to say this is very much alpha software in test so apologies for that. Looks like the problem is in picking up the user being sent from the profile.

You can still send a PM however. I have had others yesterday and today. Just go to your inbox and enter the users you want to send the PM to. In this case Mr Papa and Yellow Swordfish. That should work fine as it has for other users.

Please see this blog post explaining our alpha testing currently in progress.

I have already tried that three times as I explained in my previous post, I tried various other ways of sending messages and it says there no recipients were selected even though I did it correctly. :/

On further inspection it looks like it's other issues causing me from being able to select yourself or Mr Papa correctly:

I don't have the whole thread in front of me but assuming you are wanting to send login and site details for us to take a look. Just use the contact email on the sidebar instead.

Working for me. I just reset the profile tabs and menus in housekeeping. The inly thing missing is that there should have been a warning message suggesting this course of action but it didn't show up. But there are some problems with your site - or perhaps I should say some uncommon occurrencies!
