we will push out a few plugin updates this morning...
nothing us planned right now as no critical fixes in 5.0.1... just clean up some little issues... no interaction of wp folks...

edit the spTopicView.php template in your SP theme. At the top are the arguments that control the post form. Change the 'hide' parameter from 1 to zero.
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
