I had an issue today with the automatic update of Simple:Press. It recommended that I update to 5.7.5.2, but the version/builds in the control file are the following:
define('SPVERSION', '5.7.5.1');
define('SPBUILD', 14770);
define('SPSILENT', 14770);
How do I download 5.7.5.2?
Thanks.
in the automatic upgrades... just tested and it does indeed yield 5.7.5.2...
now, you dont mention which version of wp you have... if you have 4.9.3, please note there is a major bug in that wp version that prevents any plugin or themes updates... they have since released 4.9.4 to fix it...
you can also download 5.7.5.2 from our store here (for free) if you like...

hmmm.... I get from 5.7.5.2 from this site... specifically here: https://simple-press.com/downl.....re-plugin/
is that where you are downloading from? or another location that I am missing...

I went ahead and reloaded the archive to the store page (diff confirmed no changes), but perhaps it will help or trigger something else to happen...
would appreciate knowing if it was from same location or not...

I have not retested the download. But, my process was to click download, add to cart, sign in, and pudchase for free Two things happen, I get a download link and and I get an email confirmation. In either case the control file lists (.1) as the version. Thanks
This is very strange. I have just done exactly that in our store and, like @mr-papa, I definitely get version 5.7.5.2 downloaded. As it should be.
However, as @mr-papa said above - WordPress is having some problems with updates and it is possible that the updated data file that informs what SP update is to be downloaded has not been refreshed on your install (using the WP update problem) because of the WP problem. So try this...
Go to the forum admin > toolbox > housekeeping and click on the task to flush the XML cache. See if that corrects the standard update from the wp dashboard.
