The plugin does not have a valid header

Anytime I install the core plugin WP loads a blank white page with a message saying:
"The plugin does not have a valid header."
not sure what that means but comes up on every install. Just thought you would like to know.
I like SimplePress so far.

The header is valid and correct. But have you not got it installed now judging by your other, later topic post? If not then please do check the name of the folder in wp-content/plugins. Check it is 'simple-press' and that WP has not appended a number - which it will do under some circumstances.
