If it always the front/group view page then this usually means that the urls are being rejected and redirected. Most commonly this would be caused by a redirection plugin or - more recently - the Yoast SEO plugin. So do you have either active?
Also worth asking - when you hover the mouse cursor over the links you should see the url displayed in the bottom of the browser status area. The obvious question is do they look correct?

No, the slug for members is members. I may have changed it though. Can't remember. Should I try putting the slug as become-a-member?
Not sure where I would look for folders? I do have another page called Forum I must have set up at some point whilst I was deciding about forums etc. That is allergyandintolerance.com/forum but there is nothing in it. Should I trash that one?
It might just be somewhat confusing. So yes - remove any unwanted pages. But first - on the integration > page and permalink admin panel take look in the select box at the top where you select the page. Make sure it is selecting exact;y the page and sub-page that you want to use. And if you change it - update the permalink again.
If THAT doesn't work, also go to the WP Settings > Permalinks page and update that. Again - in case the rules need a flush for any reason.
But I am sticking with my theory regarding redirection for now!

Update. Changed the slug and it is now working.
However, new problem that happened before I made that change is that the links in the main admin page are not working. I can click in the sidebar and, say, go to Options or whatever, but I cannot use any of the links on the actual forum admin. Eg, I can't manage groups/forums.
This happened before if you remember, I updated SP with an update that became available and it went. It's back again
if you changed the wp page slug, be sure to go to forum - integration - page and permalink and update the forum permalink..
