after the update no user can add a reply or add a topic in the forum. the button is still there but it is gray and not black. not sure what that means..

so at first i thought i locked the forum with the "lock down" option - not it

then i thought i have a premissions issue and the users/moderators do not have premisions to add create - not the issue

then i thought that i am using custom topicView.php that i copied from an older reboot version, and i just updated the theme so i copied the new reboot mobile and desktop php files, made my changes, cleared cache on server and browser and i still cant reply or add topics.

the two wierd things are that as the admin i should have all the options and i still cant add reply/topic.

second one is that i can "quote" using the quote button and add a reply that way, with all the user groups.

what did i break or might it be an update issue 🙂 ?

attached is the "grey" buttons i am talking about:

watch and subscribe react to clicking. the other two do nothing...

I've removed the login details you posted as it's never a good idea no matter what level of access the account has to post it for everyone to see. Whenever we request login details, we always advise sending a PM to all the admins.

It looks like your site is throwing a lot of jqery conflicts / errors.. First place to start - You updated SP but did you also update all SP plugins and themes?

Have you also updated WP and WP plugins / themes?

Apologies. Can you try something for me please?

In your child theme you changed the tooltips define from true to false. Instead of false can you use a zero - so it becomes:

if (!defined('SP_TOOLTIPS')) define('SP_TOOLTIPS', 0);

Does that sort things out correctly?

Sorry, must have missed this yesterday.

Still happy to take a look, although I deleted the login details so please could you PM them to myself, Yellow Swordfish and Mr Papa with a brief description of the problem and a link to this topic and one of us will take a look.
