so while awaiting feedback from your coder, you might ask him why

if (empty($sfglobals['special_rank']) || empty($memberRanks)) return $userRanks;

is not catching the $memberRanks == NULL condition...

just to make sure, you might paste the entire code of the function sp_get_user_special_ranks() where the error is occurring... only a dozen lines and would like to make sure the file is what expected..

also, have you upgraded to 5.1.2 yet?

It probably has no relevance but perhaps you could also tell us what version of php you are using.

I'm having difficulty getting my coder to pay attention to this, but the issue is starting to interfere with our business. The warnings are all over the back end of our Admin, proving very irritating to customers who want to post on our Forum as well as to Admin types trying to navigate.

Can you recommend someone I can hire to get this fixed... now?

Thanks!

If you want to send us (yellow swordfish and mr papa) a temp wp admin account with sp admin capabilities and ftp access, we can take a closer look at what is going on... certainly can patch the code to remove the warning... might need phpmyadmin access in order to look at the db too... it just doesnt make sense given the data you have supplied since the exact condition is checked for two lines before the message you are seeing... if that works, please send the info via pm here...

I will do this today. I am traveling, so it will take several hours to happen, but it will.

Thank you.

Here are five screenshots with associated URLs.

This is what all three of our Admins see, using 2 windows and one Mac machine , all from different locations.

Our registered users making Forum comments or comments on Customer Review pages are seeing presumably the same thing. We can't determine whether more casual users are seeing the same thing sometimes or never.
