Way to Hide or Disable Account Settings in Profile

I don't want my users to change their email addresses or passwords in the Simple:Press forum. Is there a way to disable or hide Account Settings in the profile? I've moved it from the main "Profile" tab to make it harder to find, but I'd like to hide or disable it completely. Thanks.

If you are asking how to hide the whole panel then you need forum admin > profiles > Profile Tabs and Menus: Open the 'Account Settings' box - Uncheck the 'Display Menu' option and then update the whole form with the button at the bottom of the panel.

Thanks, that's what I needed. I didn't realize that clicking the up/down arrow opened a dialog; I assumed--by the look of it--that clicking those arrows simply moved the menu item up or down in the menu list. Thanks for your help.

They were pretty much standard WP meta-boxes once upon a time but slowly WP abandoned that look. We are just being a little slower to do so 🙂
