Support Forum
Hi Steve/Andy. I've been seeing a couple of errors with the Thanks plugin following the recent updates. I'm not sure if it's to do with my setup or a bug in the plugin, but I thought I should flag it here.
When a member thanks someone they get an error message:
The following users say thank you to X Person for this useful post:
Y Person
Fatal error: Call to undefined function sp_mycred_process_points() in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/bbfuture/public_html/wp/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/post-thanks/library/sp-thanks-mycred.php on line 47
The error message disappears when the page is reloaded. However, the Thank button also vanishes for all other forum members for that message, meaning only one person can ever leave thanks.
Edit: I'm running the latest versions, Thanks 2.1.1, SP 5.4.2 and WP 3.9.
Thanks Andy! I know how complicated SP has become, so I'm not surprised some things slip through the net with each update. It's great that you're so proactive with keeping things working.
You know the real problem is the testing. There are just so many combinations - well infinite if you include WP themes and other plugins - you think you have covered all of the bases and then you realise of you turn this thing on then that thing stops working!
I appreciate your patience and encouraging words.
Keep a watch out in the updates panel...

Got the update. If the plugin was installed on this forum I'd hit the Thank button. But it isn't so I'll have to say thanks properly!
an update to mentions was pushed out this afternoon to fix this... sorry!

I don't know if it's in any way related to this issue, but I just upgraded WP & forums on my site (not the one I updated the other day) and if the thanks plugin is activated it stops the forums from working properly AND it prevents my WP plugins admin page from loading as well, took me ages to track down that the problem was caused by the thanks plugin.
Interesting to note that on this site I have cforms running and tinyMCE is working fine - so I'm about to disable the thanks plugin on that other site and see what that does when I activate cforms again
