This is what happens if I use the Ultimate TinyMCE plugin (see image). The editor field stays gray so no entry is possible. On my testplatform it works with this plugin so there will be some conflict or something but don't know where to search for.

I believe it was you that said it was the advanced tinymce plugin... sounds like might be more involved...

The issue with the toolbar I had indead with the Advanced TineMCE plugin. I tried also to use the Ultimate TinyMCE because this one was working on my testsite. I'll look further to see if I can find the conflicted plugin.
