We taken the time to review every Feature/Function again this morning to confirm what’s working and what’s not. Here’s what’s not working:

1. FORUMS – cannot reorder/drag&drop
2. FORUMS – cannot upload Custom Icons
3. FORUMS – cannot upload Featured Images
4. COMPONENTS – cannot upload Custom Smileys
5. COMPONENTS – cannot reorder/drag&drop Share This Buttons
6. PROFILES – cannot reorder/drag&drop Menu Order
7. PROFILES – cannot upload Avatar Pool
8. REPUTATION SYSTEM – cannot upload Reputation Badges

Anecdotally, our NEWSPAPER Theme includes Custom bbpress styling & cusomt login system for builiding our community, but we opted to move to SimplePress after comparing simplicity & and prospective Features & Functions, hence; the importance of resolving these issues as soon as possible, as we’re gearing up for a late May “pilot” launch of our Groups/Forums. We’ve set aside any further customization until we’re sure that everything works.

We’ve agreed earlier in this thread (#43) to deactivate Theme & All Plugins briefly this weekend to give your team time to explore resolution of the above issues. (Your Admin Credentials remain in place). We are operating from Eastern Standard Time.

Would you kindly give us a Time Window for Saturday morning (after 7:00AM EST) to move forward with deactivation and approximately how much time we should set aside? 

Please keep in mind that it is OK to login & explore these issues before Saturday, simply avoiding peak 8:00AM to 6:00PM time windows.

I can tell you newspaper isn’t the issue, we have been using it on our site for the last couple years, no conflicts with simple press but we did to some tweaking with custom css

We will do our best to get back to you tomorrow with some kind of timeframe.

it is a little difficult as both @mr-papa and myself have family matters to attend to over this coming weekend but I am going to suggest around 9pm UK time which is 1pm in California. If, when @mr-papa starts his Friday he has a problem with that then we will come back to you.

As to how long… I can’t say. It depends on what we find really. And there is little point visiting before that, especially if the site is still throwing that error which it continued to do last time I looked.

However, deactivating all plugins and switching to a default WP theme will eliminate that so we should have a clear site to take a look at.

Thank you! We will assume 9PM UK time on Saturday unless we hear back from you. Our Server Admin will ensure that the Theme and all plugins have been deactivated at that time (a Maintenance Screen will be in place). Please check before then simply to reconfirm that your Admin access is OK.

The credentials are working currently.

Too late on your end, but alternative if better for Mr. Papa would be 2:30PM today California (5:30PM Tampa) 10:30PM UK. Just trying to stay away from peak traffic times. Let us know if this is better or if you wish to stick with tomorrow (Saturday).

Simply reconfirming that our Server Admin will deactivate our Theme and ALL Plugins at 8:45PM UK (12:45PM California) to allow you to begin your unobstructed Site access using your Admin Credentials provided. You will have access for as long as you need to explore SimplePress functionality issues.
