The websockets error is still happening,

We are at a loss as to what to do next, having taken the steps mentioned earlier with zero success. Any ideas?

Well clearly there is something in your environment there that is the cause of this. And I am still unhappy that this websockets error is happening because I can not tell if this is having any negative effect. While I think it unlikely it IS possible and has to remain a suspect until it is removed from the equation. And - just as a matter of simple fact - this external call is being made every few minutes and causing an error condition which in unhealthy for your website. So tracking it down and eradicating or correcting it is in your best interests.
What are the chances that you could do what you did above - deactivate all plugins and the theme - and gives us 10 minutes in the site at that point?

One other thing I seem to remember. Whatever is happening is stopping AJAX calls from being made. Does that chime with anything you have set up there? Maybe some sort of elaborate security arrangements...?

just to add to Andy's comments...
wow, what a boat load of inline js that gets added to each page from that visual composer... makes reading a page rendering hard...
you also have something nxs (next scripts?) that is generating malformed html... probably not the cause, but no way to be sure... like the endless sockets errors, should be fixed...
wp bakery visual composer... features drag and drop and seems to do it on its own vice using the jquery ui that comes with wp... so could be conflicting... have you tried it with that disabled? of course with browser caches cleared...
one other thing that might be worth trying is to not let wp combine all the js scripts together... perhaps causing some sort of conflict...

We taken the time to review every Feature/Function again this morning to confirm what's working and what's not. Here's what's not working:
- FORUMS - cannot reorder/drag&drop
- FORUMS - cannot upload Custom Icons
- FORUMS - cannot upload Featured Images
- COMPONENTS - cannot upload Custom Smileys
- COMPONENTS - cannot reorder/drag&drop Share This Buttons
- PROFILES - cannot reorder/drag&drop Menu Order
- PROFILES - cannot upload Avatar Pool
- REPUTATION SYSTEM - cannot upload Reputation Badges
Anecdotally, our NEWSPAPER Theme includes Custom bbpress styling & cusomt login system for builiding our community, but we opted to move to SimplePress after comparing simplicity & and prospective Features & Functions, hence; the importance of resolving these issues as soon as possible, as we're gearing up for a late May "pilot" launch of our Groups/Forums. We've set aside any further customization until we're sure that everything works.
We've agreed earlier in this thread (#43) to deactivate Theme & All Plugins briefly this weekend to give your team time to explore resolution of the above issues. (Your Admin Credentials remain in place). We are operating from Eastern Standard Time.
Would you kindly give us a Time Window for Saturday morning (after 7:00AM EST) to move forward with deactivation and approximately how much time we should set aside?
Please keep in mind that it is OK to login & explore these issues before Saturday, simply avoiding peak 8:00AM to 6:00PM time windows.
